After a chat on the phone with Whit and her native Puerto Rican friend Gabby, where I complained about my screwed up Spanish course (it's on a video, with a European-looking guy... hmmm), Whitney and Gabby volunteered to teach me Spanish. They're going to teach me a phrase every day. Thanks to them, I can now fluently say "the little chickens dance on the roof!" and by the time I come to visit, I should also be able to say "the man milks the purple cow" and a slew of other helpful phrases. I'll then be able to go up to any native and show off my new language skills- it'll be especially interesting with my little white girl accent!
FUN!!!!!! ;D

I can say "Pinochio is my son, but he is very ugly and boring." "Pinocho es my hio, pero el is muy feo y aburrido." Spanish final on Tuesday. I'm screwed, don't you think?
